NICRAT DG signs performance pact with departmental, unit heads

The Director General of the National Institute for Cancer Research and Treatment (NICRAT), Prof. Usman Malami Aliyu, has signed what he christened as ‘performance pact’ with all departmental and unit heads of the Institute.
This is to ensure that each department and unit delivers on its plans for the year 2025.
He signed the performance agreement after receiving briefs from all the departmental heads on their 2024 achievements and plans for 2025.
It would be recalled that last week, some departments including Administration, Clinical Services, Prevention and Control, Research and Innovation, National Cancer Health Fund and Finance and Accounts presented their achievements for 2024 and plans for 2025.
However, Surveillance and Monitoring; Internal Audits, Procurement, Media and Public Relations, and ICT departments gave their briefs, Wednesday, January 15, 2025.

Prof. Malami charged all the heads of departments to ensure that staff under them put in their best in order to realize their set plans.
He, therefore, charged all department to submit monthly performance report to the office of the Head of Administration for scrutiny to ensure that they are working in accordance with their plans.
The NICRAT DG insisted that he will not tolerate lackadaisical attitude to work so that Institute can achieve its set plans for 2025 and also contribute meaningfully to the attainment of the overall vision of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Renewed Hope Agenda in the health sector.
He commended the heads of departments for the achievement recorded in 2024 and assured that the Institute will do everything possible to provide a conducive working environment for all staff to put in their best to achieve more in 2025.
