𝗗𝗚 𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗥𝗔𝗧 receives in audience 𝗔𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 (𝗔𝗛𝗕𝗡), Assures strategic partnership

The Director General National Institute for Cancer Research and Treatment, Prof Usman Malami Aliyu, Professor and Consultant Clinical and Radiation Oncologist has Wednesday August 2 received in audience the coordinator, 𝗔𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 (𝗔𝗛𝗕𝗡), Dr. Aminu Garba Magashi in his office.

While welcoming the coordinator and his team, the DG informed them of the Institute’s antecedent and mandates with particular emphasis on providing leadership in cancer research, treatment and control in the country. He also disclosed the institute’s journey so far and assured the coordinator of his commitment to build partnership with 𝗔𝗛𝗕𝗡 in relevant areas. The DG also presented and led a session of deliberation on Logical Framework for 𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗥𝗔𝗧’s 5 year Strategic Plan Development Workshop that will soon bring stakeholders, experts and partners on board to chart a headway for the institute.

Earlier, the coordinator, 𝗔𝗛𝗕𝗡, Dr. Aminu Garba Magashi, shows gratitude for the warm reception accorded his team and expressed reediness to partner with 𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗥𝗔𝗧 in line with his network priorities. Dr Aminu further applauded the DG’s efforts in promoting actionable partnership with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery in cancer space in Nigeria. He thanked the DG for taking bold step towards the institute’s development overall.
